Tetsuya Wakuda can count chefs among some of his biggest
fans.
Tetsuya’s unique cuisine is based on the Japanese
philosophy of natural seasonal flavours, enhanced by classic
French technique. His style is emulated the world over,
his well-known philosophy – simplicity can be abundance – is
evident in his creative presentations. |

Ms Sutcliffe is one of the world’s foremost
authorities on wine and a keen palate. Having received
numerous awards including the Chevalier dans l’Orde
des Arts et des Lettres, Ms Sutcliffe brings an exciting
perspective to wine tasting.

Moderator
Mr Peppercorn is a consultant and respected author
of award–winning tomes such as Drinking Wine,
Bordeaux (for which he was awarded the Andre Simon
Prize) and Guide to the Wines of Bordeaux. Mr Peppercorn
also has been awarded the Chevalier dans l’Orde
des Arts et des Lettres by the French government.
Ms Sutcliffe and Mr Peppercorn will be moderating
all tasting sessions. |

N K Yong
Wine Consultant,
WFAE
Respected palate and well-known wine connoisseur,
Dr Yong is one of the select few who influenced the
development of wine appreciation for over three decades.
|
The French
government honoured him with the Officier de’l
l’Ordre du Mérite Agricole for distinguished
service to the international Wine & Food Society
in 1989. Dr Yong is also a member of the Confrerie
des Chevaliers du Tastvin of Burgundy, Commanderie
du Bontemps de Médoc et des Graves in Bordeaux,
as well as the Jurade de Saint-Emilion.

Sun I-Yu
Artist
Originally from Taiwan, Ms Sun studied in France,
trained in oil painting and has had many exhibitions.
Recently adopting glasswork as another medium, Ms Sun
expresses the soft lines of nature through the
human silhouette and figurative paintings.
Her works can be viewed at the Black Art Gallery at
East India Rooms and throughout the event. |

Jane Robinson
Yoga Master
Begawan Giri Estate, Bali
Sri Jane began her Yoga studies 20 years ago in India
with Yoga Master, Swami Venkatesananda. She has since
studied with various Yoga masters and taught yoga herself
throughout the world.
Sri Jane now resides in Bali and teaches Classical
Yoga, (including meditation), Stress Management, and
Tibetan Yoga at Begawan Giri Estate. |
Situated close
to Ubud, Bali’s creative and
cultural centre, Begawan Giri Estate is spread out
over eight hectares of lush tropical garden amidst
the serenity of Bali’s stunning landscape with
five residences comprising 21 suites.
