Selected guests had a foretaste of the new Raffles Hotel Wine, Food & Arts Experience on Sunday, 16 November, at the Vintage Krug 1988 Champagne Brunch which kicked off the Prelude to Great Tastes in Wine. Food & Arts Experience which took place from 16 November to 21 November 2003 at Raffles Grill!

Olivier Krug, sixth-generation Krug and International Commerce Director of Krug Champagne, introduced the ambrosiac 1988 vintage Krug champagne to an appreciative audience who were enthralled by Raffles Grill’s Chef David Mollicone creations including Lamb Noisettes with Braised White Coco Beans, Greens and Garlic Smoothie, Snails and Split Lamb Jus. Pastry Chef Norihiko Terai of Restaurant Hôtel de Mikuni, Tokyo, presented his award-winning dessert, Antarres, a composition with Cinnamon Milk Chocolate and Japanese Tea.

During the brunch, guests found out more about the new annual Raffles Hotel Wine, Food & Arts Experience, a premier culinary, wine and lifestyle experience that will take the region by storm! It is an extravaganza of the best in life featuring the cuisine of Michelin star chefs, highly prized wines by top vintners and international artists coupled with a weekend stay at the luxurious Raffles Hotel!
