The wine tastings will once again be moderated by internationally renowned Serena Sutcliffe, head of Sothebyís
wine department. |
| She has made extensive contributions
to wine literature and is one of the worldís foremost
authorities on wine and a keen palate. Ms Sutcliffe
has been awarded the Chevalier dans líOrdre des Arts
et des Lettres by the French government. |

Dr
N K Yong
Wine Consultant,
WFAE
Respected palate and well-known wine connoisseur,
Dr Yong is one of the select few who influenced the
development of wine appreciation for over three decades.
|
The French
government honoured him with the Officier de l’Ordre
du Mérite Agricole for distinguished
service to the international Wine & Food Society
in 1989. Dr Yong is also a member of the Confrerie
des Chevaliers du Tastvin of Burgundy, Commanderie
du Bontemps de Médoc et des Graves in Bordeaux,
as well as the Jurade de Saint-Emilion. In 2004, he was awarded officier de líordre national du Mérite by the French Ambassador to Singapore.

Highly acclaimed Japanese glass artist, Seiki Torige, will be adding an artistic facet of fascination to the epicurean experience with an exhibit of his breath-taking works-of-art seamlessly incorporated into various gastronomic events.

| Working primarily
with recycled glass, Mr Torige creates large sculptured
masterpieces of glass melts, cobalt blue pulls and chiseled
vases that appear at once large yet light. |
